Hello Dele,

It's great to see people integrating Red5 with Asterisk!

I've implemented a couple of modules that integrate Asterisk with Drupal
(www.drupal.org). Among other things, my modules provide phone extensions
to every user that joins the site and also allows sys admin to add
extensions (with or without voicemail boxes) to existing data types such as
blogs, community events, and even groups.

My dream was to allow web users to record announcements and voicemail
messages directly from the website and broadcast them to the phone.
Unfortunately, since I couldn't figure out a way to transcode audio from
Flash to MP3 (or .wav) so that I could play the audio using Asterisk, I
stopped trying and decided to start implementing a web-based audio recorder
in Java.

Is there any way of using your technology to record audio from web and
convert it to MP3 so that I could store it and do anything I wanted with it?

Thanks in advance and congrats for the amazing tool,

Leo
