Jason, You mentioned in earlier posts that you were trying to create some sort of custom application in a different scope than the default demos - I'm using revision 1975 on two different machines, and they work quite fine for playback of video on demand. I'd suggest that perhaps the issue is with the configuration of your files that setup this new application - and remember to recompile/restart the Red5 server for those to take effect.
Perhaps it is something simple, since the latest trunk does work (in the scope of things like the oflaDemo application anyway).
