Subject: [Red5] Evaluating for streaming video purposes

Hi all,

My company uses flash for application development heavily and is now
considering video uses. I've installed Red5 on my test machine and am quite
happy with it so far. My company is in the business of building websites
and so has a sophisticated structure for content on individual sites. I've
noticed the Red5 server has one place it defaults to pull .flv files from.
I've also noticed some documentation of changing the default location for
those files. I'm going to need to pull files from all sorts of different
directories. What I'd like to do is pass a location along with my request
to start the streaming video. Is this even a possibility? I'd like to pull
from a share located on another windows box.

Thanks in advance,

Robert
