Attempting to do an async remoting invokeMethod from a scheduled job
callback fails with a null pointer exeception. I am able to do async
remoting from other parts of the app, and can do synchronous remoting from
the scheduled job callback.

I'm thinking that this could be because it's executing on a thread that's
not associated with a connection or scope? Maybe it's not even important to
do it asynchronously here, as it's already on a seperate thread and not
blocking the rest of the app. Any thoughts?
