This question has been asked too many times now i think, maybe the
otpions should be added into the docs. Id really love to docbook those
text files into a packaged resource.

I asked a really simple question for months, i thought it was going to
be a hard one but it wasnt after some research, but i had to drill
through the red5 source to work out where it loads the files and how.
Red5 uses the spring resource loader to load files.

If you see my example on that page you will find the properties for
local file resources using file:

 From the docs

http://static.springframework.org/spring/docs/1.2.x/reference/resources.html

Amazingly u can use http: to do url resource loading. Please try it and
let us know. You cant really restrict those files on the other end im
assuming, you can prob ip restrict the path though.

so

playbackPath=http:/www.thedomain.com/thepath/to/flvs/

its prob not the right slash syntax but google spring url resource
loader if those docs dont help.
