Hello Jonathan: Yes, these streams are automatically saved on the server under a "streams" folder in the application directory.

Hello everyone, I am just trying to figure out how everything works with red5. In terms of when wanting to record a basic audio stream when I do a netstream.publish(); How is the actual recording handled or supposed to be handled on the serverside. Is any code necessary to record the actual stream or is it all automatic. I have looked over the api reference a lot but a lot of it is very trivial. I thought about perhaps having to create a new IClientBroadcastStream object but it is not entirely clear. What about when wanting to work with that stream? I have looked at all the tutorials and samples, etc and they still don't explain anything about how things work, and in order for me to create I need to know how everything is supposed to work then I'll have no problems, I am not trying to just copy paste code samples that work without knowing how they work. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks - Jon _______________________________________________ Red5 mailing list [email protected] http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/red5_osflash.org
