Hi all,

I found a RTMP Ripper called "Reply media Catcher":
Link: http://applian.com/replay-media-catcher/index.php

I test the Demo (download on their site) version and i was a little
bit suprised as i saw that this little 39,95$ Tool was able to
rip all rtmp streams automaticly from:

http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/ Flash Media
Server from Vitalstream
http://www.fan.tv/
       Woowza Media Server
http://www.fabchannel.com
Dont know what they use

I tryed to rip the red5 demo streams, it also works with 1 click. Try
the demo version by yourself,
demo is limited to rip 75% of the hole video.

LiveStreams seems to work also.

After some hours of testing we tryed to rip the "DRM Video" from
Onlinelib ACP - Advanced or Anti Copy Protection
(what a stupid name, hehe) and here the reply media catcher doenst works.

There was no chance to save onlinelib DRM Demo from:
http://www.onlinelib.de/vcsdemos/drmdemo1/drmPlayer1.html

It seems that here is more as a "marketing air bubble" behind ACP from
onlinelib.

Does anyone knows how they protect their Videos for ripping?!

I use ehterreal and it seems that they dont use ssl.

I know that its possible to grab video from the screen,
but this is not a 1-to-1 digital copy.

Please stop discussions about DRM, thanks :) i would like to talk
about the technical site of content protections. Any statement
are welcome.

PS:
Another strange thing was the onlinelib live-broadcaster:
http://www.onlinelib.de/en/products/vcs-en/live-broadcaster-en/

How did they stream live over real http protocol?!

We want to stream some live music jazz sessions and stereoaudio
is a must have.

Red5 is one of my favorite software tool, thanks for that!

best
nick
