Hi Thomas,   
 
i have experienced disconnections on high cpu load.  
the ping answer is not sent right in time. configureable at
red5-core.xml -> rtmpMinaConnection.
on high latency the video stream (not live) gets sticky.    
 
again: i am assuming the the clients get disconnected cause there are
not answering right in time!. in my opinion it could be latency or cpu
load!. Any reason that this ghost connection killer will be triggered.
