These two are only used when running in Jetty or Tomcat standalone mode to determine the location of available Red5 applications. In WAR mode, the applications are loaded by the *-context.xml files in the "conf" directory. Is there a problem if you extract the red5.jar inside a folder "webapps2" and restart Tomcat?
