Hi Guys, I know you can help me out. You've been there. At work we have decided (with persuasion) to do a test Flex application.
We have setup Eclipse, FB3 Plugin, and JBoss running locally. I explained to my boss that Flex can communicate with the server in a variety of ways. We decided using Remote Objects (Flash Remoting) would be the best option for us. I decided Red5 would be the best technology to use for Remoting. I have installed and ran the Red5 demos successfully. What I would like to do now is create a sample app from scratch that talks to the remote java classes on the server, sending and receiving serialized objects in Flex. I know next to nothing about Java (the same way Java developers know next to nothing about Flex). We are using EJB3 on server but I'd be happy if I was able to talk to a plain Java class. I don't know if you can run two servers at a time but we already have JBoss setup. Any guidance, tutorials or advice is welcome. _______________________________________________ Red5 mailing list [email protected] http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/red5_osflash.org
