This is still in the experimental phase. We've gotten the shared object facility clustered in a proof-of-concept, but that has yet to be integrated into the red5 core. Steven Gong is currently working on that.
The next step is to iron out the architecture for scaling out streams. I want to fire up discussion about this. I'd like to drill down into a little more detail about exactly what would be clustered with Terracotta. Steven, have you experimented with implementing any of the edge/origin stuff described in your architecture diagram? Were you planning on building the Edge server from scratch, or did you have a caching proxy server already in mind that you were going to use?
