I just tried FME recently with Red5 and had really bad lagging audio (1-3
secs). Any idea as to the reason for this?

Andrea, what I did is I set the stream name in FME, and then used the Red5
Publisher demo app, and specified the same stream name and was able to watch
what FME was streaming. However, for me, the audio was lagging by 1-3
seconds regardless of which video/audio capture method I used in FME.

Andrea,

The latest version of Red 5 will work with the Flash Media Encoder, as to
whether or not the FME licence allows you to use it with Red5..I'm not sure
but the FME licence seems to exclude its use with anything other than Flash
Media Server.
