Hi Reds I wonder what does fellow Reds think about an ad that started airing almost a week ago over here in Asia. It's an Nike ad that features Ruud prominently with Monty Python's Always Look on the Bright Side of Life as the background theme. There's also a bunch of Reds in a bar watching a telecast of a match.
For those who have not seen the ad, with the tune in the background, Ruud missed a penalty. It also showed Ronaldo's scars on his knees, cyclists collapsing. Ends with Ruud scoring a goal and head-tennis on the ball while whistling that immortal tune ... I am both a Red and Python but I was not amuse to say the least albeit more on the Python angle because I feel it is a sell-out whereas I expected that from Manchester United.
