Manchester United captain Roy Keane has insisted he welcomes the extra
competition for central midfield places after the arrival of Eric Djemba
Djemba and the impending signing of Kleberson.

The Irishman remains confident that if he's fit he'll continue in the
starting line-up, although many have suggested the 32-year-old will be moved
back into a defensive position.

Keane told The Sun: "You have to accept at United that you are going to be
pushed for your place. The manager is always looking to improve things and
that is a good thing.

"I welcome new signings because they increase the competition it is the
challenge that is part of playing at this club.

"But that is not a problem for me. I am confident that if I can keep fit, I will play."
