If, and I repeat, "if", we feel it's neccessary to sign a big name to
complete the jigsaw, then why haven't more people suggested Ronaldo?

1) It's easier to spell and pronounce than Ronaldinho

2) He has more natural skill, a better temperament and more European
experience than Ronnie who.

3) In the world of lower (despite Chelski) transfer fees, if we're going to
spend silly money on a striker to partner Ruud, or if Ruud gets injured,
then Ronaldino is one of the best.

4) Since the crowd at OT reacted with the highest possible respect and
dignity to Ronaldo's hat trick, he must emotionally favour us above all
other clubs on the planet.

5) If he can play as spectacularly as that night whilst still carrying a
little weight, think how he could actually improve within a strict
Manchester regime.

6) The fickle fans at Real Madrid have made their feelings known. Ronaldo
himself has stated they are a very difficult crowd to play for. Wouldn't he
want to play for a club where he would be wanted, nay "loved"?

7) He has all the money in the world, therefore it's the football challange
that should appeal.

Alex, are you reading this?
