Hmmm...looks like they did some plea bargaining with the FA. Not surprising, since there was no way they were going to get out of the charges anyway, given the video evidence. I also can't help wondering if the hardline that Palios took with Rio made them realise that the FA is serious about discipline nowadays.
Either that, or they looked at the fixture list and figured out that there was a convenient window for them to take the bans without missing players for difficult matches...
