So just out of curiosity -- why is RQL not an option?

The RQL block can be totally non-intrusive and living in a totaly
different page and be called via Ajax or even a 1 px iframe. As long
as you pass the sessionkey the script will work with the right
project.

I have never encountered a situation where RQL is not an option and am
dying to know the rationale.
