Is it just the images in the text-RedDots or also the images in image- RedDots? If first: Did you recently reset RedDots image-cache due to an update e.g.?
We sometimes encounter the same problem with the text editor as it writes the wrong image-URL in the HTML-Source (direct to image-cache).
