If you have access to the RDCMS.log file you can "cue up" the content
class replacement in SmartTree, empty the log file and save it,
perform the replacement in SmartTree and then inspect your log. It
will have the correct RQL syntax which you can then convert to script.
This goes for any RQL command you're not quite sure about.

You'll find the following command in amongst all the other XML:

<IODATA loginguid="*****">
<PROJECT sessionkey="*****">
<PAGE action="changetemplate" guid="*****" changeall="1"
holdreferences="1" holdexportsettings="1" holdauthorizations="1"
holdworkflow="1">
<TEMPLATE originalguid="*****" changeguid="*****">
<ELEMENT originalguid="*****" changeguid="*****"/>
<ELEMENT originalguid="*****" changeguid="*****"/>
...

</TEMPLATE>
</PAGE>
</PROJECT>
</IODATA>
