Recipe for a proper file download list: Difficulty: easy Time: 15-25 minutes
1 list element 1 list block mark 1 standard field (for file description) 1 media element (for the file) 2 attribute elements (filetype, filesize) Take the list element and place it inbetween your list block mark. add a anchor tag and make sure, that the filename is inside the title attribute or the tag itself. mix the anchor with the 2 attribute tags to get a proper link. for the finish add the standard field below to tell the reddot masterchief what exactly they are going to download. Advanced recipe: Add a file forwarder to your anchor for your visitors convenience. Visitors like it, when they click on a PDF and the download starts. Visitors hate it when Acrobat kicks in, the browser freezes for a couple of seconds and then the X megabyte PDF is open. Enjoy. Serves best with a nice bowl of red.
