I am currently trying to find a way without doing a complete Re- Install, that will allow the RedDot system account to be assigned an Active Directory account through our Domain. This will allow the RedDot CMS to actively see attached drives based on AD profile and not have to place folders/files locally on the Server. The other problem that is because our security authentication is so tight, even if the CMS Server has a mapped drive place on the box, the CMS cannot see this because when installed is uses a local Group and Local accounts.
Has anyone alleviated this issue by running the installation with a domain account and RedDot actually keeps the Domain credentials from the AD so it can see assigned Folders, Servers, Files, etc. for both publishing and connecting to external files with the asset manager? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RedDot CMS Users" group.
