Hi folks, I'm using RedDot Version 7.5 Build 7.5.1.75 on a page that is charset=ISO-8859-1. Recently an editor wanted to use a ≥ (≥) in a text, but it got replaced by a 0 in preview and a # after publishing. As ≥ is in UTF8 and not in ASCII the HtmlConvertTable.txt had to be converted to UTF8. Everything on the page works fine, except characters coming from UTF8. As the HtmlConvertTable should convert those chars to htmlentities it should work, even though the page is ISO-8859-1. At least thats my theory.
Changing the whole page to UTF8 is currently not an option, so i'm eager to hear whether anybody faced and solved this problem. (I did a search on the topic, but none of the existing solutions worked for me...) Looking forward to some interesting replies Martin --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RedDot CMS Users" group.
