To expand on Chris' response, you can't nest RedDot block statements
(at least CMS ones), even across templates.  In fact you need to take
care that your "assembled" page doesn't nest block markers or you'll
get all kinds of problems.

PS I mean to say you can't nest a block mark inside itself, obviously
you can nest different markers in many cases.
