Any comments would be appreciated. I am working on a site with lots of folders in it. all of the folders have index.html pages in them. When red dot users "connect an existing page" (that is named index) on a related link, at publishing it produces an error that reads something like "can't find the ___ directory, publishing to the root directory". Then it overwrites the home index page!! I started recommending the users use "Reference a Page" instead.
My question is : Can I stop Red Dot from publishing to the root directory if there is such an error? Is what's happening the fact the connecting an existing page is altering the structure somehow, and referencing a page does not? What are the major differences between the two? I tried using authorization packages to stop the ability to connect to existing pages from the module, but it takes out referencing a page as well. Thank you for any insight. -galactic --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RedDot CMS Users" group.
