Hi Yves,
It seems clearing navigation cache, and rebuilding navigation index has
caused the navigation index to be deleted and is in process of recreation.
So you will see your navigation areas messed up during this time when it is
rebuilding the index. Similar issue happened with us, and we had to wait for
some time for the navigation index to be built and navigation areas to show
up again. Sometimes, you might have to go to navigation structure and see
that u have the pages in the connected mode or adopt the home page again so
that it comes to the connected pages.
Thanks,
Prasanth.

Subject: [!! SPAM] [reddot] Navigation manager issues

All,

I'm a year long user of RedDot and have pretty much always been able
to solve the issues the thing has thrown at me, but now I'm at my
wits' end.

All pages using Navigation Manager generated navigation do not show
any navigation links anymore. Both top navigation and side navigation
are completely blank. We sometimes used to have the issues that
navigation tags would show instead of the generated links, restarting
servivces would always solve that.
Not anymore...

We're using RedDotversion 7.5 Build 7.5.0.48 (I know, I know, we
should upgrade, but not just yet).
I've cleared the Navigation cache
Rebuilt the navigation index
Restarted the Object service
Even restarted the whole physical server.

All to no avail.

I hope to find some group members who had a same issue and were able
to solve it and are willing to communicate their solution.

Kind regards,

Yves
