Folks-- I've recently posted two plug-ins I wrote at the end of last year. I thought about how to sell them but then realized most dotters -- like myself -- hate to pay for plug-ins.
Confucius told us not to impose anything we do not desire unto others. If I never want to pay for a plug-in, why would others do? So here they are http://www.byteweaver.com/. Free to download. Free to use. 1)One is called Open Lounge. It is basically a small IM working inside RedDot CMS and allows logged-in users to communicate with one another. Open Lounge gives you an instant collaboration tool inside RedDot CMS. Details are here http://www.byteweaver.com/content/open-lounge-reddot-cms. 2)The other is a content class based Batch Publisher. It allows a fully configurable (whatever project variant(s), language variant(s), whether to publish following pages and related pages) publication process to traverse the entire instance collection of a content class. It is useful when certain content class changes and your site needs to reflect the change while you are not willing to go through the trouble of a global re-publishing. details can be found here http://www.byteweaver.com/content/batch-publisher-reddot-cms. === Both plug-ins follows the standard CMS plugin protocol so they are super easy to install and there is no special runtime to worry about. === The downloads are nominally treated as "trial version" which reminds the a user to contact me if he or she is interested in continuing using it. Ask for a permanent license and you shall receive. There is no charge. All I ask in return is that you try it first to see if the plug-ins can be useful for you and if they are and you are requesting permanent license, please send me some feature requests or bug reports or any other types of feedback in exchange for the perm license. Cheers, Henry Lu, a.k.a., Javahand (I am in the process of tidying up a few other plug-ins I wrote and will post them one by one soon.) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RedDot CMS Users" group.
