Hi All, As some of you were having difficulties discovering where the reference "Best Practice" project was in the 10.1 release of Web Site Management (RedDot), my colleague Manuel Schnitger, has made it available within the Solution Exchange platform here: http://bit.ly/bKBHjz.
This is the work of just a couple of guys internal to Open Text, who have spent a lot of their own time getting this to a state where we hope it will facilitate the discussion of best practice by being a starting reference point. There are some great examples within and we would love for us all to work collaboratively to iterate and evolve this project further with your all important feedback. After all, it will be the collaboration with the wider community that really dictates best practice over time. We are planning to include a forum into Solution Exchange in the not too distant future and we hope to encourage discussion about this there. In the absence of this in the short term, feel free to use your existing channels like this very group or your own blogs. On that point, part of the goal of the Solution Exchange is to aggregate this conversation into a single place. To that end, for those of you who blog and would like to contribute to the main Community Feed on the Solution Exchange, I would like to encourage you to register. We only consume blog articles from your blog feed that you pro-actively have decided to contribute. This contribution is as simple as tagging an article in your blog with a given tag and we'll consume it. If you no longer want to contribute that article, then remove the tag and the article will not be used once the server cache refreshes. Of course some sources are a "must have" so this is why we aggregate all articles from http://www.reddotcmsblog.com/. Clicking on any item in the Community Feed takes you to that original source. I hope to provide you more information about this evolving platform in the coming weeks and months but would very much like to invite your feedback from now and for the foreseeable future to help evolve it in a way that best serves you. That also applies to the Best Practice project. Cheers, Dan. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RedDot CMS Users" group.
