Hmm, since the breadcrumb probably doesn't have that many templates I would look into those (2?) first and then just create another Navigation Area with the same breadcrumb functionality and replace my template code with the new render tag. If that doesn't work.. well, then it could be something weird.. Is there any pattern like vowels in paths with pages that won't work? Maybe the .Net code for the breadcrumb doesn't like certain characters?
