So, in working with RedDot 10.1 for the last 4 months or so I have
found that there are some things that I would like it to do that it
just doesn't (like releasing pages that other users have saved as
draft for example), or doesn't do well. I discovered the wonders of
RQL and started writing a simple .net application that would perform
various functions that I found I commonly wanted, and just kept adding
more buttons every time I wanted to do something new.

Then I decided to make it a little more extensible. I added a
clipboard that functions much like the one in Management Server, an
RQL console window, an RQL log window, and a navigation structure
window complete with drag and drop. I gave myself the ability to save
RQL commands, and the console the ability to replace placeholders (of
the form [!lguid_login!]) with data from the clipboard such that I
could just copy and paste RQL from the documentation and it would work
automagically. Allowing myself to create new buttons from within the
program followed naturally.

Before I knew it, I had not used the web interface at all in weeks.
So, I was thinking to myself that other users might want this
functionality as well. Given the large amount of work I've put into
this it doesn't seem like something I should give away on solutions
exchange or whatever, but before I started trying to sell it I thought
I'd ask you guys if it sounds like something you would find useful. I
can post screenshots and/or video walkthroughs if this idea intrigues
anyone. Let me know!
