Hi Hubert,

does that help?

1) load the link relevant elements (link, list, container) of the page
        RQLStatement = "<IODATA loginguid=""" & sLoginGUID & """
sessionkey=""" & sSessionKey & """>"&_
                       "<PAGE guid=""" & sPageGuid & """ >"&_
                       "<LINKS action=""load""/>"&_
                       "</PAGE>"&_
                       "</IODATA>"
2) check the name of each element and compare it with the
con_container. If you found the right element....
3) check if the element (con_container) has content
RQLStatement = "<IODATA loginguid=""" & LoginGuid & """ sessionkey="""
& SessionKey & """>"&_
                "<LINK guid=""" & LinkGuid & """>"&_
                "<PAGES action=""list"" />"&_
                "</LINK>"&_
                "</IODATA>"
3.a) If it has content and you decide not to add any more pages
(Images, Banner,...) write something like "true" into a standardfield.
Next time the page is called just check the standardfield. If the
value of the element is "true" then you know that you have to do
anything.
4) Go up the tree as far as needed...
    RQLStatement = "<IODATA loginguid=""" & sLoginGUID & """
sessionkey=""" & sSessionKey & """>"&_
                   "<PAGE guid=""" & sPageGuid & """>"&_
                   "<LINKSFROM action=""load"" />"&_
                   "</PAGE>"&_
                   "</IODATA>"
This statement gives you the guid of the element the page is connected
to as well as the guid of the parent page. So it should be possible to
go up the tree as far as needed. On each page you can then get the
elements and check if the element/page is the one you need. then you
can either connect to the page or reference the page.

Best regards,
Manuel
