Hi guys,

Upgrading from 7.5 to 10.1 is fine. Any problem that would arise is
usually project related.

Here are a list of project specific upgrade blockers.

1. red dots within rendertag. This would make content disappear
within that block in SmartEdit.
2. RDExecute or Preexecute RQL within templates. This would cause the
page to error out.
3. using containers to contain CSS and JS (insert container
placeholder option enabled in template). This no longer works in 10
or 9 SP2.

MS (RedDot) road map is available here

MS 11 will only be available for 64 bit environment, so planning
ahead. I would spin up a x64 environment, do a fresh install of 10.1
SP2 with latest hotfixes, and migrate existing projects over.

Best of luck,

-Jian
