Check the cleanup logs to see if there were errors.

In IIS 7+ the directories controlled by IIS are protected. Depends on how
your ACLs and UAC is setup as to whether the system lets you do things in
IIS directories or whether it forces you to do things through the UI (with
prompts).
Maybe try Process Monitor to see if the cleanup agent is trying to run but
being denied access to the files...

Subject: Deleting pages from directory

Hi all,
this is a Management Server 10.1 Build 10.1.1.334, running on a Win
2008 Server.
I'm using a local directory as publishing target.
>From project start the project variants are set to "clean up liveserver"
(it's a normal IIS not delivery server)

After deleting a page:
I publish a (former) parent page with settings following pages and related
pages.
Result: The (deleted) page is not removed from the folder

After setting a page's linking schedule to the past (hide from nav/all links
in the site):
I publish a (former) parent page with settings following pages and related
pages.
Result: The (expired) page is not removed from the folder

This is rather frustrating and I thought this would work..
Do you have any advice on why this doesn't work?
Is it because it's not an FTP publishing target?

Any hints or tips are appreciated.

Cheers,
Markus
