We are currently running OpenText 10.1 on Windows Server 2003 32-Bit and SQL server 2000, this is running in a virtual machine. We have noticed some server lockups, slowdowns and users getting kicked out of their sessions lately even though we have been running this system for several years now. We upgraded to 10.1 around a year ago but I don't think that is the issue.
We have talked about creating a new virtual machine running 2008 64- bit and starting with a fresh install of 10.1 instead of all of the updates we have done over the past 6-7 years. Has anyone else moved your server to new hardware and if so is there anything we should look out for? I figure we can just export the single project we have and import it on the new server, but what do you do about users and groups, is there a way to export them? thanks, Brian Brian Holdman | Assistant Director for Advancement Technology | P: 573.651.2988 | [email protected] Southeast Missouri State University | One University Plaza | Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 | www.semo.edu -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RedDot CMS Users" group.
