Hey Guys

Just wondering if any of you have problems with publication taking
ages/getting stuck? We have a solution which is using nav manager and
has a lot of workflows. When pages are released they are taking a long
time to publish, if at all. The publish queue is showing the
publication queue as running for numerous hours and shows no sign of
stopping sometimes. We have removed a lot of the ‘publish related
pages’ from work flows and have unchecked ‘deleted page cache on
publish’ (which has sped up single page publishing). Can you think of
any other issues which may be slowing things down? I’m just about to
download Jians plug-in to check for multi linked pages (thanks Jian)
to see if there is an issue there.
As an additional query or two:

• How many of you guys use nav man?

• How large are your sites?

• At what stage/size would you think it should be a multi project for
one site solution, and has anyone done one like this where each site
section is a separate project, I must admit I’ve never really looked
into multi project solutions.

• What have you found to be a cut off point for pages per node/per
site? Is there a maximum page count on a project basis?

• Have any of you split a project which is live and has been running
for a while?

Sorry for all the questions and I appreciate any response I get which
addresses any part of this. Every little helps ;)
