Joel, We do not own the Asset Manager but if the files are not referenced you can run the Asset Manager Maintenance and Asset Control jobs in the SmartTree under the Folder section. I have used these jobs in version 10 with good success and it also allows the ability to back up the files on the local server if you ever need them for later use. We are under heavy public records requirements and this helps me keep the system clean and store files for later use when no one can find them. The jobs do not run correctly in version 11 until they release a HF if you are using Database storage of your assets. The jobs do run correctly if you use Local Storage of your assets.
