Hi all, I'm trying to provide a means to reuse text at the template level by using standard fields. I don't have any references to work with, so I'm flying blind. I managed to add standard fields and apply retroactive elements. I've cleared page caches, and even published in increments to make sure the elements looked fine at the content level.
However, as soon as I embed the field into the content class and publish the page, the field duplicates itself with a blank value. So, the page elements include two standard fields of exactly the same name, one a reference, and the other a blank. In what order should these fields be applied? Are there references in KC or anywhere that explain opportunistic code reuse between page content classes?
