Hi David, do you mean the Display Settings of a user, which you can find under Settings -> Display Settings? I just tried changing them and analyzing the RDCMS.log to extract the RQL query for this operation. This returned something like this:
<IODATA loginguid="loginGuid" dialoglanguageid="ENU" sessionkey="sessionKey"><PROJECT><SETTINGOBJECT action="save" name="preview" projectvariantguid="guidOfProjectVariant" userguid="userGuid" groupguid="groupGuid" datetime="dateTime" nottranslatedpages="1" notreleasedpages="1" ignorepageschedule="1" showtidyerrors="1"/></PROJECT></IODATA> Maybe its because the user I've tested it with is not in a group and I did noit change the Date/Time Field, the userGuid was inserted into the groupGuid and datetime field as well with a '#' prefix. So you would have to insert a correct format there. The three 'boolean' fields are used for the opions: Ignore appearance schedule Yes Unreleased pages Yes Display Tidy warnings Yes If you want to do it on a per group basis, I think you should get all userGuids of a group and try to repeat the RQL query for each of the users. You would then have to take care of users belonging to multiple groups. Hope this is, what you wanted. Regards, Christopher Am Montag, 28.
