Hello Brook,

The RQL console is useful for testing RQL statements that might provide the
information we want. There are RQL statements that provide "page" information
(see the Query index in the RQL manual). If you compose a query in the console,
providing, for example, an known user's GUID, first see if the response might
be useful for telling you what pages that GUID has edited. If there is useful
information, then I can help you create an ASP or other program that might
include some logic and additional queries. On the other hand, the information
just may not be available.

Stop by and I will discuss this with you more. Don't worry about the ASP yet.
Let's first find out if RQL can help at all. And, perhaps someone in the google
group has already done this, which would be great.

Regards.
Romola

Subject: RQL Script using existing .ASP file as basis

A very amateur question...

I have toyed with the RQL console before, so I have a (very) basic
understanding of how several RQL scripts work. I also have the source .asp and
.xml files of several existing RQL queries. I'm trying to use these scripts as
a template off of which to base a new script that when run will list all of the
pages (if any) a specific user has edited since the creation of his or her
account. However, when I look at the code in dreamweaver, it looks much more
complex than simple <IODATA> lines that can be executed through the RQL Console.

How do you go about coding a new query? It seems like you need to use another
program and not just the Console in RedDot.

Thanks
