Hello All,

I have just upgraded to a development machine to wsm 11 from wsm 10.1. It
took a bit of work and help from OpenText support to get the administration
and project databases over from wsm 10.1, but that is another story.

My problem is that my Oracle connection to the adminstration database
reports errors, though, I do eventually get a log-in and I am able to
navigate within the Website Management. The errors typically look like
below (from the dberror.log):

  <Exception type="Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleException">
    <Message>Connection request timed out</Message>
....
  <Message>Could not open a database connection</Message>
  <SqlStatement>CommandText is null or empty</SqlStatement>
....

They occur quite frequently, and every now and then, it does not allow me
to log-in to my admin account at all. Only a server restart allows me to
log-in again.

I have checked with my DBA but he does not see anything.

What could be causing this type of error and/or how do I determined how to
correct it?

Thank you.
