If you do it using the header you can solve the problem for all users in one
go, rather than relying on each user fixing the problem for themselves.

Just saying.

Hi everyone,

I had the same issue with IE 10. It is very easy to fix from the users IE
browser.

In IEs tool bar, top right, there is tools or something like that, then
compatibility, click that and a new windows pop up. Add the current URL to the
list and then done. IE will be automatically go into compatibility mode
whenever visiting that URL.

FWIW, we configure IE compatibility mode hint headers on IIS for the CMS sites.

I can't remember the exact syntax, but SO will help there. Try IE9 mode first,
then IE8 mode. Depending on your patch level.

Thanks Tim. Upgrade isn't possible right now and we were just looking for a
temporary workaround, which we've actually just found

thanks

IE 10 not technically supported on MS 10. V11.1 is where formal support was
added. All v10 is technically in phase where patches for new issues and no new
features (IE support) will be added. If the users are in compatibility mode an
upgrade is likely the best option. v11.2 ( the third release since v10.1) is
set for a release soon.

Hi all.

Some of our users are having issues with IE 10 on CMS 10, specifically with the
text editor window that doesn't display the OK, Cancel & Help buttons. Other
users are fine though. Has anyone else ran into something like this and found a
workaround?

Thanks,

Luca
