Subject: Re: RedDot Guid of page - from footer

Nav Manager has to be turned for rendertag to work, but the page doesn't have
to be in navigation structure.

If you want the .NET version of the guid
<%!! Context:CurrentMasterPage.Id %!!>

If you want the classic version of the guid
<%!! Context:CurrentMasterPage.Id.ToUpper().Replace(-,) %!!>

If I understand if correctly, you are trying to get the GUID of your base page
and use it on the footer?
If you are using NavMan and the base page is a master page then it is the Index
item in your nav structure. This may work for you:
<%!! Context:CurrentIndex.Page.Id !!%>

Hi,

I need to get the guid of the page from the footer, does this count as a child
page? I've got my footer as a page within a container on my main template.
How do I retrieve the page guid of the current page if i use the info tag and
return page id this returns the page id of the footer page.

Thanks

Gemma
