Hi, concerning this issue i opened a ticket to the Support last year and i got the following feedback:
There is a known defect "WSGMS-4295 (Render Tags: GetHtml bei Anchor mit zugewiesener URL liefert keinen Wert / Assign URL for the link with GetHtml method returns no value)" whereby it is not possible to fetch the value of anchor tags via render tags if they have been assigned a URL. This issue doesn't have a release date defined yet. The workaround in this case would be to use a Standard field Text element to save the URL and then fetch the value. So, i adopted that workaround.
