Looks like it was fixed in hotfix 14. Likely pushed back from HF13 because HF13 only had one fix in it. Here is the bug number I would suspect that you are seeing, Rob: WSGMS-16506 - SmartTree: maximum number of pages in sort order settings sometimes being ignored in customer project
