Thanks.  I am using 800X600 on a toshiba laptop and things are OK with xfstt, but
I have to spawn the process manually as root prior to using my normal login and
KDE.  I have to remember to do this.  I don't know where I put an instruction for
boot.  Also, I am using OSS for a yamaha sound card and its a trial.  It does not
work in conjunction with the font server.  X will not client me if the soundon
command is issued.  I don't know what's up with that.  Well, I need to find or
buy a legal sound driver for the card anyhow.  I am using 5.2 Redhat and it does
not support the card as far as I can tell.
