On my RH 6.2 system, if I su to root, /sbin and /usr/sbin are not in the
path (if I log in as root, they are).  Therefore, when typing in su, type
'su -' , 'su -l' , or 'su --login'.  This reads the login file of the
user--in this case the super-user--instead of the default PATH file that
redhat made.  I'm not sure why they did it either.  If you find the file
where they keep the path, let me know.
