That's not true. There are definately ways to discover ways to do
things on a CLI. I certainly don't know exactly how to do everything
I do every day, but I somehow manage to figure them out, using a CLI.
Whether something is easy to figure out depends on the kinds of clues
there are to figuring it out, not whether it's GUI or CLI based.
Printing _is_ hard under Linux, because printing under Linux is an
unmitigated horror, but there are things under Window which are just
as horrific.
For example, to get pcmcia network cards working on some Windows
boxes, I've had to boot to safe mode and remove device entries that
didn't show up with a normal boot... having a GUI doesn't help when
the GUI hides vital information in certain modes. And then there are
things which some people want to do which involve changing the Windows
registry. Yes, you have a GUI to do it with, but you don't have any
clues and you probably _won't_ discover that you can do something
without outside help.
GUIs aren't a silver bullet, and you _can_ make CLIs discoverable....
