kernel-2.2.16-22

Hello. I use Redhat 6.2, kernel version is 2.2.16-3. I have a problem with eepro100 on 2.2.16-3. I downloaded intel etherpro module from Intel site and installed it. I found that kernel-2.2.16-22 fixed eepro100 bug and tried to install kernel 2.2.16-22 RPM packages to another machine. Buy I got error message like this. only packages with major numbers <= 3 are supported by this version of RPM error: kernel-source-2.2.16-22.i386.rpm cannot be installed Is it impossible to install kernel 2.2.16-22 rpm packages on RH6.2?
