Yes. ( and the gperf requirement )

I've been doing that here for several months. Both on 6.1 and 6.2 
machines.




IIRC, transaction support also needs a newer version of db3 >= 3.2.3h.

[chrismcc@fisher chrismcc]$ rpm -qa| grep ^db3
db3-3.1.17-5
db3-utils-3.1.17-5
db3-devel-3.1.17-5
