The 'ls' command will allow you view the contents of a directory and 'cd'
allows you to change directories.. To view a directory that has more than
a page full of things in it, use 'ls | more', and to find out more
information about commands type 'man <command>' (e.g. 'man ls').. In the
/usr/doc directory you will find lots of information regarding different
'bits and pieces'.. I'm sure that there are plenty of good sites on the
net to assist you, but I cannot think of any off of the top of my head ;-(
