I think most jdk releases from javasoft are installed under a common parent and their supporting scripts assuming this. The jdk-sbb-1.1.6-2.1.2glibc.i386.rpm package that I just installed has decided to rearrange things like the following ./usr/bin/jdk-1.1.6 ./usr/doc/jdk-sbb-1.1.6 ./usr/include/jdk-1.1.6 ./usr/include/jdk-1.1.6/genunix/jdk_modulo.h ./usr/lib/jdk-1.1.6 instead of a say JAVA_HOME being /usr/local/java and being able to refer to bin and lib within the jdk as JAVA_HOME/bin JAVA_HOME/lib somebody decided to remove the common parent theme and I'd like to know why since .java_wrapper doesn't work lik this. Are most folk using the sn jdk port or something? -- PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips, Errata and the MAILING LIST ARCHIVES! http://www.redhat.com/RedHat-FAQ /RedHat-Errata /RedHat-Tips /mailing-lists To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
